Andreas has been advising corporate clients for over 30 years in Corporate and Investment Banking. He is currently on the management team of a family-owned services business in Germany. During his banking career, he has worked for Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, and BNP Paribas. Most recently, he was Managing Director and Senior Banker at Banco Santander, responsible for the relationships with some of the largest German corporate clients. He also spent some time as Head of Advisory at Bankhaus Scheich/Tradias, the first BAFIN-regulated market maker in digital assets and crypto currencies. His focus is on clients in the TMT Telecoms, Media and Technology, Industrials, and Chemical & Pharma sectors.
Andreas has been involved in numerous highly visible transactions, including the largest ever M&A transaction to date, the $220bn acquisition of Mannesmann by Vodafone, the second Deutsche Telekom privatization, the IPOs of Bertelsmann’s subsidiaries Pixelpark and Lycos Europe, the spin-off IPOs of Covestro and Innogy, and the acquisition of Monsanto by Bayer.
Andreas holds an MBA (Dipl.-Kfm.) from Goethe University Frankfurt and attended executive MBA classes at New York University and INSEAD.
