He was formerly a Director at Goldman Sachs/iFormation, where he was responsible for growth capital transactions in partnership with Fortune 500 corporations. Previously, he served as Vice President at Internet Capital Group (Nasdaq: ICGE), where he invested into growth companies in the business services and enabling technology sectors. Prior to joining Internet Capital, Philipp spent over five years with McKinsey & Co. in Munich, Düsseldorf and London.
Philipp holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MA from the University of Munich, where he was a scholar of the German National Academic Foundation, and a BA from the University of Tubingen.

Nicholas Field-JohnsonManaging Director

Nicholas was Head of M&A at Dresdner Bank and a former member of the Board of Directors at NM Rothschild & Sons Ltd., the UK Merchant Bank. More recently, he led Dresdner Kleinwort Capital's Private Placement capability and was a Managing Director at Alexander Dunham & Case Capital, providing financial and strategic advice in the European Middle Market. He has strong corporate finance skills in M&A, restructuring work and raising new equity.

Olivier has over 12 years of experience in working with growth companies. He was formerly a Vice-President at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein where he was part of the private equity group in London and Palo Alto, CA.
Prior to joining Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Olivier spent over two years at The Boston Consulting Group, working with major clients in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors.
A dual French and Swiss national, Olivier holds an MBA from INSEAD, an MSc in Molecular Medicine from Imperial College, and a BA in economics from Princeton University.

Peter TahanyManaging Director

Peter's background has a particular focus on advising high growth technology businesses requiring tailored corporate finance services; he has managed UK and cross-border M&A transactions, including many private company sales, as well as structured principal & minority investments and strategic alliances for more than 20 years.
Formerly a director at Daiwa Europe and Head of M&A at Durlacher, Peter was a director at the specialist technology advisory firm ARC Associates. He has advised a range of private and public companies, shareholders, financial institutions and governments in Europe, Asia and North America.
He has been working closely with entrepreneurial management teams for more than ten years on a wide variety of convergent industry projects and has extensive experience in driving business models to valuation events, often as a non-executive director. Prior to entering investment banking, Peter qualified as a solicitor and worked for four years at Simmons & Simmons advising on intellectual property, banking and corporate matters.

Alex was a Senior Associate at Lehman Brothers where he was part of the UK corporate finance team specialising in UK mergers and acquisitions and IPO’s. Prior to Lehman, he spent five years at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell where he executed transactions in the pan-European mergers and acquisitions teams and in the Consumer Products team (food, retail, leisure, luxury goods, etc).

Andreas CserDirector

Andreas has over 8 years of experience advising corporate and private equity clients in Western Europe and the Emerging Markets of Central & Eastern Europe. He was formerly a Vice President at Dresdner Kleinwort, where his clients included a wide range of large and mid-cap media companies and private equity houses with TMT investments across Europe.
Previously, he worked at CIBC World Markets in Mergers & Acquisitions and in Leveraged Finance, advising on transactions across numerous sectors including TMT, Industrials, Building Materials, Leisure and Real Estate, and arranging highly levered financings for private equity clients. Prior to CIBC, Andreas worked for UBS Investment Bank, where he was part of the bank’s TMT corporate finance team. He started his career as the co-founder of an online content management and community platform in Germany.
Andreas holds an MA from ESCP-EAP European School of Management in Paris, Oxford and Berlin, and is fluent in German, French, Hungarian and Romanian.

Christopher WrightSenior Advisor

Christopher Wright is Chairman and a co-founder of EMAlternatives LLC in Washington DC, an emerging markets focused private equity asset management firm, and a director of Merifin Capital Group, a private European investment firm.
Until mid-2003, he served as Head of Global Private Equity for Dresdner Kleinwort Capital and was a Group Board Member of Dresdner Kleinwort. He has acted as Chairman of various investment funds prior to and following the latter's integration with Allianz Private Equity.
Mr. Wright has spent over 26 years financing and advising mid-sized companies operating in the USA, Canada, Asia and Europe. He joined Kleinwort Benson Limited in London in 1978 and in 1981 co-founded the Group’s first office in California. In 1986 he relocated to New York to manage the Kleinwort Benson Limited portfolio of North American private equity, high-yield and mezzanine investments.
He is currently non-executive Chairman of Maxcess International Corporation, and a co-founding director of Roper Industries Inc (NYSE) and IDOX PLC (AIM ).
He has chaired the investment committees of and/or serves on several advisory boards of third party managed LBO and venture capital funds in North America and Europe and has advised several other financial institutions, including Hansa Capital, CdB Webtech, Standard Bank, Artio Global Investors and IDeA Alternative Investments, on their investments in private equity and other alternative assets around the world.
Mr Wright holds an M.A. from Oxford University and a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance from ACCA. He is Foundation Fellow, Corpus Christi College, Oxford University.
