Santiago first joined Fraser Finance in 2007 and rejoined in 2014. He has over 15 years of experience in both corporate finance advisory and operating roles with multinational companies in the US, Latin American and European technology sectors. Notable past transactions at Fraser Finance include ADTZ acquisition of Glow Digital Media, growth financing rounds of Exthera Medical and Qinec (now Lumeon), and the acquisition of 3GNet by iCrossing.
Before Fraser Finance, he served as Director at Heritage Capital, part of Banque Heritage, Geneva, where he was responsible for M&A and capital raising initiatives and acted as an advisor to the World Bank on a $100M renewable energy transaction in Brazil. Santiago has also served as Director at Level 3 Communications in London. Earlier in his career, he led the international operations unit of AT&T Latin America and its post-merger integration with Telmex.
Santiago holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MSc in electronic engineering from the National University of La Plata. He is a native Spanish speaker and truly passionate about outdoor sports such as alpine skiing and polo.
